Oh Em Gee! A gluten free restaurant in the Denver International Airport?! And, it is delicious!
Etai's Cafe and Bakery has a sit down restaurant as well as a quick To Go counter! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me since there is literally wheat symbols all over the sign. And it appears while they do have glutenous bread, they also provide nearly every single item on the menu as a gluten free option! Wraps, salads, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, burgers and even a chocolate mousse!
After salivating over the menu I finally decided on the Udi's Famous Roast Beef Sandwich with fries because well it's famous? And they had me at caramelized onions with aged gouda cheese. Let me assure you that it lived up to its fame. While this picture might look simple the flavors and texture was amazing. The gluten free bread wasn't sandy, it was light and crisp. The flavors of the roast beef with the caramelized onions and gouda was completely delightful. I could have eaten this twice in one day without hesitation. You know when the food is so good you start to wonder if the kitchen messed up and gave you gluteneous food?! Yes, that good!
Did I mention they also have a full bar? Next time you are flying through Denver, definitely make a trip to the B gates! They are located near B23.
